About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and adaptive individual to join our team as the Head of Fundraising. Based in Sydney, your primary responsibility will be securing and managing diverse funding streams and strategic partnerships, making a tangible impact on the lives of young people in Australia. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing Beacon’s strategic goals and the sustainability of our organisation.
About the role:
In this role you will be accountable for:
- Securing ongoing funding to support Beacon’s strategic goals
- Developing and managing professional and strategic partnerships with funders and industry
- Overseeing the maintenance of a diversified fundraising pipeline and the timely and accurate submission of proposals and acquittals
About you:
- You are committed to effecting real change and making a positive difference in the lives of young people
- You have a proven track record in fundraising and business development
- You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in fundraising and senior management roles
- You are a collaborative team player with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- You are an adaptive and resilient leader with a commitment to high standards
